Re: Is anyone..........
we had no choice, since we're getting married in a catholic church....
We were dredding the whole event, but honestly, we both found it enjoyable in the end.... it made us appreciate each other even more than we did before....
(We are rather nonreligious... for us, it is more about culture and tradition.......)
hope this helps....

Re: Is anyone..........
At first my FH and I were like 'Oh well, lets get married in a church for our moms' then we started going everyweek and we started to like it. Now we wish we had more time inbetween the ceremony and the CH to have a mass!!! I can't wait for FOCUS and Pre-Cana...sounds like fun

Re: Is anyone..........
We are an interfaith couple also but being that we are getting married in the Catholic Church, we have to. It is a requirement. We already completed the first part. And it really isn't very religion oriented. It was about communication in a relationship. The second part is Natural Family Planning.... that starts next week. I am dreading that one.

Re: Is anyone..........
No pre cana for us we are using Rev. Deb. I was raised catholic and Fh was raised jewish but neither of us are practicing. I just couldn't bring myself to do a certain ceremony just to please the mothers so we are having one catered to us. I think it will be much more meaningful then a religous one that we don't beleive in. So long story short no precana no focus.

We are also an interfaith couple but getting married in the catholic church so we ARE doing precana. I think its mandatory for the catholic church. FH is a non practicing lutheran so he decided to marry in the catholic church. FM me for any more questions

I too am an interfaith couple, but we are getting married at a catholic church so we had to do pre-cana. It was actually a lot of fun.
We're getting married by a judge at the reception hall.
