We haven't even thought about wedding bands yet! If it's do-able in the rings, I would love to do it and surprise him.
i want to get something engraved on his ring
we are getting ours engraved but its not a surprise. We are both getting always & forever' on our bands

We did!!!!!!! his ring has my name and our wedding date, and my ring has his name and wedding date.

aww ... thats what my parents did! I think thats sweet too!!
This is what I was thinking for our bands...... We will probably get ours engraved together. He is 100% Italian and while I am Irish/Italian/German, I identify very strongly with my Irish side. We will probably get the same thing engraved in our bands (I am leaning towards 'my love' or 'my heart') but I will get mine engraved in Gaelic and he will get his in Italian. We might do it the other way around (His band would be in Gaelic to represent me and mine would be in Italian to represent him) but I haven't decided that yet!
My band wont be engraveable but am going to surprise him and engrave 'seriously?' on his bc when he asked me to marry him I was in such shock I said seriously for like 10 minutes!!!
