Yes, I am....I REALLY want to be at our Cocktail Hour... so it just made sense to us since we are getting married at the RH.

depends on your timeline that day, for some it makes sense to do it and for others it doesn't. If you dont have a lot of time between ceremony and reception then its best to take pics before. If you have a big gap then makes no sense bc then what are you going to do for 4-5 hours ya know.
For example my friend had her ceremony at RH and CH followed immediately, so she took pics beforehand.
I had ceremony at 2:30pm and CH at 7:30pm, so made no sense to take pics before since we had such a large gap and needed to fill that time. We took pics for over 2 hours after our ceremony in queens, went to 2 pic locations, then drove to LI and still got there 30-45 mins before CH even started. we had time to even sit back and relax in the bridal suite.
Everyones situation is different, just do what is best for you

I am. In the Jewish religion, it's actually tradition to see each other before hand. There's an entire ceremony where you also sign the Jewish wedding license.
Plus we'll be taking pics.![]()

We're definitely going to see each other before the ceremony. I want to try to get all the fun, sweet pics done before I want to pay attention to the rest of my guests.

my FH and I are seeing each other before to take pics... and we get to enjoy the rest of the days and get photojournalistic pis for the rest of the occasion without spending the extra money for an additional photographer.

Since I will be eating well and hardly drinking until my BIG DAY....I will def not want to miss the chance to eat my CH food ![]()
We are having a 12:30 ceremony followed by 1pm CH so the pics have to be taken in the morning prior to the ceremony.
So many couples do this now (as you can see by all the responses) so it's really not against tradition by any means.

I am not but really only because we have a huge gap in between our ceremony and cocktail hour.. We got plenty of time to take pictures then!
