Hey there ladies! I went to see Larkfield Manor on Saturday. I met with Maryanne and she was wonderful. You can't do a tasting until you book...just wanted to know if anyone had any details/comments about the place and especially about the food Thanks in advance!!!!!

I didnt book it..but was a close 2nd for my rh...its beautiful and heard GREAT things about the food...good luck

I'm getting married at Larkfield and I had my tasting last weekend. It was awesome!! I have not one bad thing to say about them. I love Marianne!! She's been great. They're having a vendor showcase tomorrow, are you going? I'll be there with FH.

My wedding is actually July 18, 2009. I just booked last night!!!!!!! When I signed up to LIW I had to put a date in LOL. I am so happy that you loved it...I am going tonight but I will be a little late. It would be awesome to help each other!!!!!!!!

We absolutely LOVE the place! Our tasting was amazing, The entire staff at Larkfield was great! Not one bad thing to say! The food was great!

i am not but I have been to weddings there and they have done a fantastic job.. I have to say since they renovated a couple years ago there has not really been any bad reviews about them on here.... the food is FANTASTIC!!!! you are going to be soo happy!

I called there yesterday and they said they will be passing appetizers. Black Forest Bakery is also going to be there, which is the bakery who provides the wedding cakes for their events. Yea, I'm so excited!!

When we went to put our deposit down, I asked about the food tasting. Marianne set up an appointment for us for a few weeks later. You're allowed to have 6 people and they bring you all 6 of the entrees, one of the salads, coffee, cappuccino, fruit, champagne (which is the most delicious champagne I've ever had), wine, and any other drinks you want. It was awesome. And we got to sit in the ballroom where we're having the reception. They're awesome, I'm so glad I booked there!

HMM GOOD TO KNOW..I HAVE TO DO THAT..I JUST BOOKED IT IN DECEMEBER! MY WEDDING IS IN OCTOBER THEY GAVE ME THE BEST DAY,...AND HARRY WAS VERY NICE!

hello every one. hope you don't mind a word from a past Larkfield bride . . . Everything that's been said here so far is absolutely true!!! I can't say enough good things about the place. You will be thrilled with it when your big day arrives. I put a review in the vendor section if you'd like more details. but the staff is wonderful. All my guests complimented the waiters on their great service. On my wedding day, the larger wedding cancelled so they put us in the larger cocktail room so we could use the larger patio. They also let my guests into the cocktail hour 1/2 hour early since so many were there and let it run for 1 1/2 hours! they are really really nice people. and the food is just so yummy and oodles of it and the Black Forest cake was the best I've had in years. So all enjoy. and make sure you sample all the food. we didn't and are still sorry about that.

I have a deposit down at the Larkfield and I was alittle unsure. Thank you guys for all the positive feedback. I really like everything, the people were fantastic and I hear the food is amazing from everyone. But I was alil unsure, but you are all chagning my mind :)
Do any of you know if there are hotels nearby? We have a few OOT guest and everyone lives in Queens.

Larkfield is really a beautiful place, the food is amazing, the staff is excellent, and they are very affordable. I am so excited to be a larkfield bride.
I booked the Marriott Islandia for my OOT guests. They were great to work with and their rate was great. They are 15 minutes away from Larkfield. The hotel is beautiful, me and FH stayed their a night before we blocked off our rooms, and we really liked it. I will also be staying their the night before and we will stay there on our wedding night.
