I am thinking about splurging on something I wouldn't usually purchase to get my skin in shape for the wedding. I have just under 6 months, so I think this is a good time to start.
Anyone have suggestions?

Re: Is anyone changing their skincare regime?
I started Proactiv about 9 months ago and it has worked wonders on my skin. I have been using regular masks at home, and just really taking the time to make sure my skin is clean everynight.
I have been broke as a joke, but I am splurging on a facial on Saturday and a 'back facial' to get pretty for my low back dress.
If you have problem skin, and you can't seem to get it under control, I would start to get regular facials, at least once a month up until your day. Microdermabrasion works wonders.

Re: Is anyone changing their skincare regime?
I just started my own at home skin care regime. I went to TJ Maxx and they had an AHAVA skin kit. It came with a cleanser, moisterizer and mask. It was cheap only 14 bucks.

No, I'm not. I wash my face with dove soap when I'm in the shower and apply a spf 15 moisturizer. My skin is clear and soft. I don't need a lot of help. The only problem I have is usually in winter when my skin gets dry

I do my own thing now at home, but I'd like to see a pro before the wedding, since it will be August and I won't be wearing much makeup, if any at all. So, my skin has to look good!

I have under 3 months and recently my lifetime long OILY skin became severely dry. I changed moisturizers, this did not help. Finally I sought out the advice of FH's aunt who works for estee lauder as a chemist (who then spoke to 'her people' and got back to me)...she recommended changing everything until there's improvement, but to change one thing at a time and then stick with whatever slightly works to see if it does the trick...i am sooooo glad i listened. i stuck with the new moisturizer but then switched my morning cleanser....i'm happy to report my skin is now more 'balanced'...not OILY again, but that's cool with me. so, under 6 isn't too late if under 3 isn't!!! i noticed the difference in 3 days!

I might. I have very break out prone skin, and I have to go to the dermatologist to have a mole removed anyway, so when I go I'm going to ask what I can do to clear up my skin.
