Is anyone considering ordering new RSVP cards?

Is anyone considering ordering new RSVP cards?

I have seen countless posts on here about people inviting their own kids to weddings even though their kids names are not listed on the envelopes.

Someone posted a GREAT idea for wording on an RSVP card a few weeks ago. Something like:

__ seats have been reserved in your honor

So now I am thinking that maybe I should order these RSVP cards even though I already have my invites & response cards.

Is anyone else considering this in order to avoid the stress and headaches later on?

JMHO but I don't like how that sounds at all. I know it is probably the best way to go about it but I just dont like it.

I guess if there is anyone you think your are going to have that problem with then you should go for it.

yea, I guess it's not the greatest sounding RSVP is it.

I don't anticipate a big problem. But I know there are plenty of ladies on here that do.

Really, you don't like it? Well too bad because that's what I used for my anti-ettiquette Spanish guests!

You know it's all love girl!

OK, this was my wording...and even still, I had 2 people try to add more

We are looking forward
to celebrating with you.

It all depends on what you anticipate your guests to do. You know them better than we do. If you think it's necessary and will avoid bigger pains later, then go for it. If you don't think it's really going to be a problem then I wouldn't bother.

I'm sorry I was just being honest!!!

Like I said if you think you are going to have that problem then it is def. the best way you can go about it!!

I guess I was just lucky b/c everyone in my family wants to party and drink all night and not worry about bringing along kids
By the end of the night they would be too tipsy to know who's kid is whos

Oh, don't even get me started on the kids! I had 'Adult Reception' on my reception folder, and I put how many seats were reserved...well, how come I'mpaying for 5 kids? Can I just say that I want this wedding to be over with?

dleeny - it's true, you know your guests best. If you think they'll follow the inner and outer envelpe addressing, don't reprint. If they're stupid like mine, then you may have to reprint.
