That's an idea. In reality, how many pics will be taken with the chairs? It also depends on the colors of the chairs, and if they will really stand out.

I believe the color of the chairs are a mauve, I love the whole look of the covers because it looks really classy

I am not a mauve person by any means. But I wonder how much the chairs will be in pictures. In the background with people dancing? When else? Maybe in the toasts? You must decide pros and cons. Cost vs. will they be in pics?

your right, if I have some money left over, I would love to use them. My FH's cuz works at the reception hall you are having your wedding at. I heard the hall looks really nice since they last redone it.

I would love to do it since the chairs at my hall are hideous, but for an extra $4pp I can't justify it. If we end up with money left over in our budget, I'll do it.

I might do it - still up in the air about it.
I found an online chair rental company, that charges $1.90 per cover w/sash....and might have my DOC take care of it....
but, $1.90 * 150 = $285....still not really worth it at that price...

We are getting them included, otherwise I wouldn't have them.

We fell in love with it when we saw it, and the price made us fall more in love. I heard it was redone, but that was before we moved to LI. George is the best! That would be funny if your FH's cuz was working our wedding.

I am covering my chairs. I think it looks really nice and I had to have it. FH didn't think so but I convinced him.

Re: is anyone covering their chairs for the reception?
I will not cover them, because they are really nice chairs. They were actually one of the deciding factors in my booking my hall.
Re: is anyone covering their chairs for the reception?
ugh i hate the chairs at my reception hall, and i'm not a big fan of chair covers. i wish i could rent chiavari chairs, but i dont have extra money like that to throw around!
the lowest quote that i've gotten for chair covers (including setup) is $4, but with about 500 chairs , it makes me cringe to think about spending $2000 for chair covers!
