IS ANYONE DOING

Parent gifts..

I was thinking of getting them a lenox picture frame / Crystal for the parents and our picture will go in there after the wedding..what do u think...

I got them really nice albums from red envelope - our photog package doesn't come with them.

I think the frame idea is great !

I was thinking of doing something similar. Either a frame or box that they can put their album in.

I'm thinking of doing the same...nice picture frame, or if they prefer I'd pay to have the photo custom framed (my mom had my brother's wedding photo custom framed and hung on the wall since she doesn't have a lot of room to put frames on tables)

I'm also thinking of getting handkerchieves embroidered with little poems to give to each parent.

each parent got a parent album...

for my mom...since she has gone far and beyond with $ and more (regardless of how much i complain about her...)

my photag offers a ':brag book' its a small thick duplicate of my wedding album that she can keep with her and show everyone who walks by!

She has no idea

great idea. We are getting ours picture frames and having them engraved and maybe a GC to there favorite resturant.

i think thats a great idea. My FH and i were both raised by our mothers only so the plan is to make a speech(tiny) and present them both with 3 dozen white roses each at our reception to show our gratitude.

that is a great idea- i actually got everyone the inlaws and my parents enscribed hankies that also have a nice saying on them- my dads, i personazlied with his initials and and nice quote w/ our wedding date on it

I'm making a scrapbook of FH and I when we were little growing up to show at the wedding. Little do our parents know, that I am aslo making each of them a copy of it.....So yes, I have been making 3 of the same scrapbook.....

I think that sounsd wonderful. We are definitely doing gifts cause I think they deserve it. I know my family is helping more financially but I think we are giving equal gifts. I am going to frame an engagment picture for each of them, and embroider hankies for each of them with a poem I found and I am not sure what else, maybe a gift certificate for dinner or something? I'll probably give something extra to my mom and dad from me because of all the support they'e given me.

I'm doing something for my parents but I was thinking just a nice parent album. FIL's are lucky they're even getting invitations
