The appetizer and salad together on one plate. I'm trying to figure out how to word this on a menu. Would I just describe them both under the heading of 'Appetizer'??

I am thinking about it. The one I want to choose is a crab cake over a field of baby greens. (because FH and I love crab cakes!!!) However, some people dont like fish so I am not sure if thats a good option??!!

I am- but they dont list it on our menu. Im doing a seafood cosmopolitan which is like a shellfish cocktail.

ETA: I just read what i wrote and it sounds like a gross drink, but it is fresh shellfish in a martini glass with cocktail sauce. LOl it sounded like a gross seafood drink- ew!

my hall wrote it into my contract for me that people may request an alternative if they are allergic to seafood- they will prolly offer them a salad instead.

Ours offers it, but we are doing separate courses. i would call it a 'duet' or 'duet course' and then explain it
