I would like to do one of possibly the family guy or something with the Philadelphia Eagles. How does this work? Do you give them a picture and they can it or do they paint it on with icing?
Thanks

Re: Is anyone doing a grooms cake?
I ordered mine from Audreys of a Yankees Jersey with Derek Jeters signature. I would talk to a specialty cake bakery. Most can make a ton of different things.

Re: Is anyone doing a grooms cake?
I'm having something about the NYMets made for the FH to be served at the Rehersal Dinner.
Using: Jackiescakeboutique.com - located in Staten Island

my FH loves his 2005 Mustang- so I am having them make a cake in that shape!

Re: Is anyone doing a grooms cake?
no I never heard of a 'grooms cake' until LIW and I know my FH hasn't a clue about it either. He would probably think it was weird since he is picking out our cake.

Re: Is anyone doing a grooms cake?
I did one - used Jackie's Cake Boutique in SI as well.
Pic: Edited: on sword it says 'Sal, you're my knight in shining armor'
This is probably going to sound like a dumb question, but is the customary place to present him with the grooms cake at the rehearsal dinner?

Re: Is anyone doing a grooms cake?
I ordered one for my fiance. He is a huge Minnesota Vikings fan, so I am having a cake made in the shape of a 3 Dimensional Minnesota Vikings helmet. I am surprising him with it at the wedding. I ordered mine from Black Forest Bakery.

I'm getting a cookiepuss cake for him because he's obsessed with them.

i'm going to get him either some type of irish shaped cake (maybe a shamrock) or a yankee stadium cake for our RD

Re: Is anyone doing a grooms cake?
I am, but we are going to cut it up and put it in favor boxes to hand out to guests. These are not our favors, just a lil treat on the way home.
