Is anyone else...

I feel the same way that you do!! Everyone tells me to enjoy planning the wedding because you'll only do it once, but I don't enjoy it!! I get so stressed out also!!!!

I am totally stressed. I think it's normal. This is such a huge thing..and there are so many details.. and so many folks to deal with (and their percentage for error builds up).. you hear horror stories from other couples.. besides this is a huge stage in one's life and lots need to be done on the side besides the wedding.. and then you get people (family) who won't cooperate.. and finally.....

and you get stressed out so much that you forget to enjoy this whole f----- thing!

Seriously.. every once in a while.. take a step back and don't think about the wedding for some time. Do the fun things you like.

Worrying never helps and the day will be beautiful no matter what!

I'm having the opposite problem - I just can't be bothered with all the little things! I have to be told like 10 times by people that I need to pick invitations or order BM dresses....I just can't see how any of this matters in the grand scheme of things.

Of course I want my wedding day to be beautiful, but the only things I care about are (1) being married and (2) hanging out with my friends and family. Nothing else matters to me.

But ask me again in a few months and I bet my story will have changed.

FH keeps telling me that. so far FMIL and BM's have not gotten their shoes, people are taking their sweet a$$ time rsvping, and other things... and FH tells me not to worry about it. I'm actually dealing with it better now... if they don't get shoes its their problem, not mine. I'm trying to not let these things stress me out. But its hard.

(maybe if these things weren't happening i WOULD be enjoying the planning!! haha blame them!)

So nervous about getting everything done for the wedding planning that they’re almost forgetting to be excited about the wedding itself? I feel like I am getting too caught up in the details, and not enjoying the process enough. Any advice for how to relax and enjoy everything?

Totally!!! Just last night, I was actually picturing FH and I having our first dance and thinking what an awesome feeling it's going to be when we see eachother for the first time in church!! All this planning can really consume a lot of your time. I guess every now and then just take a step back and think of you and FH and what an amazing time your gonna have on your special day!! That's what I did yesterday and today I am on cloud 9
