Is anyone else?

Is anyone else an insomnia? I'm never gonna sleep when it gets closer to the wedding!

Oh my, this is too early for you to be having such problems!! You need to find a way to relax. Does your daughter live home? The stress they are feeling compounds our own. After 6 years on her own, mine moved back for the one year before the wedding to save money and so we can do it all together. It was fun but very hard. She was a tough cookie and the wedding brought out the worst in her.

I had insomnia maybe those last two months and it was horrible. I was up for a couple of hours at 2 and 3 each morning - and coming to the computer. You will find a girl or two on LIW at that hour! By the day of the wedding, I was so exhausted, it took me days to recoup afterwards. The only good thing was I kept losing weight. I was happy with my 15 lb. loss and even though I was eating more from all the festivities and things we had going on, I was losing a lb. here and there instead of gaining it back.

I'm afraid the insomnia is not from wedding jitters I think it is more 'the changes'. The wedding should be the icing on the cake! Thanks for your support!

I remember that also! Some have a harder time than others with the changes, and I was one of those. I hope yours goes faster than mine did.

You ladies are the greatest. Thanks. I am trying estrovent (over the counter) I think it helps somewhat...but give me any excuse to worry and I'm up!

Talk about insomnia----the wedding is one month from today and I am having dress nightmares. I ordered a dress in July, went for a fitting 2 weeks ago, it was the wrong color, plus I hated it on me. I have been running around shopping, and stressing about this. I actually have nightmares about this at this point!!!! I have found one dress that I am absolutely just settling for, not what I wanted at all for my daughter's wedding. I go this Friday for a fitting, if I hate it, after getting hysterical I do not know what I will do.
Advice for future MOB's go look at the dress when it comes in, don't wait for the fitting. Live and learn!!!!!!!!!!!!
