scared of walking down the aisle? I don't mean scared to get married. I mean scared to physically walk down the aisle?
I hate having all eyes on me or attention of any kind. I get really nervous walking down the aisle as a BM, so I am scared that I am going to be shaking or start crying when I do it at my wedding!
Any advice from the married ladies? Or ideas from the rest of you gals on how to calm the nerves so I don't ?

So I thought I was going to be a complete mess walking down the aisle and during the ceremony -- i.e. crying my eyes out. When the time came, I was the calmest one there. I held my mom and dad by the arms, and just walked down only looking at my hubby...That's the best advice I can give you - look at him because that's all he's going to be doing is looking at you. And next thing you know, you're there getting married!

i hate to have all eyes on me - esp while i am crying bc i know i will be in tears walking down the aisle i would not be surprised if i tripped! my plan is just to focus on FH waiting for me at the end of the aisle...and hold dads arm real tight so that a trip doesnt turn into a fall
oh and a glass of wine or two will def help

I'm not sure how my reaction would be Sunday, I tend to laugh when I'm nervous so will see. But then again I'm a cry baby so I have lots of mix emotions now. I think Saturday night I'm justgoing to cry till I cant so that I dont have tears come Sunday.

I keep telling myself I should just look at FH, but I worry that he will make me cry! When we did pre-cana, we had to practice our vows and I COULD NOT look at him and say them because I got all nervous and emotional and started crying!!!

umm...i thought my shower dress was going to cut off my circulation while driving to my shower (it wasn't a surprise) and I had to drink an entire bottle of champagne before I was in any condition to walk into that...to say i'm 'nervous' to walk down the aisle is an understatement, lol.

I just looked for FH (couldn't believe how many people actually showed up to church) found him thought damn he looks handsome and practically dragged my mom up the aisle...couldn't wait to get up there because of everyone watching but also couldn't believe our wedding day had finally come

I am not nervous about this...the thing that is making me freak out is the first dance. I hate being the center of attention and I know everyone will be watching. Makes me sweat just thinking about it!!
