is anyone else getting nervous about numbers?

after looking at the numbers for the 09 brides, im slightly worried..

a lot of them had HUGEEEE no rates-like 35-45 percent...

Actually.......I'm hoping for more no's than the typical rate. My guest list is at 260 and I'd like to keep it as close to 200 as possible.

ETA: I know there are always some more people I can invite at the last minute if I don't have enough like co-workers or you lovely LIW ladies. It's keeping the numbers down that worries me!

yeh i am sure we aren't going to make our 175 minimum and our guest list is like a little over 250 right now. we just have so many old, sick, oot, etc ppl on our list that i really dont think we will make our min.

yeah that is making me concerned. i spoke w FH and we just might send out more b-list invites with the a-listers...so at least if we get NOs, we can act more quickly....

the whole RSVP process is what i DREADDDDD

Sometimes I worry too many people show up and other days I worry not enough. I invited 30 ppl over minimum and the RH is out of the way. It's a 45 min drive just for me!

I'm not going to make my minimum! My deadline is tomorrow and a lot of people haven't responded.

I guess I will have to see. It's pretty frustrating.

I'm not, for a few reasons.

We really have no OOT guests, save for my grandparents (who may or may not come depending on their health) and my aunt and uncle, whom I doubt would come anyway. Not super close. FH's mom and sister are our only OOT guests.

We have such tiny families. I have 3 cousins and FH has 2.

We have a low minimum of 90.

We really only plan to invite about 110 give or take.

I may be naive, but I cannot see half the people on our list not coming. Everyone got STDs, everyone has known about our wedding for forever, they are all from within a 20 mile radius of wher we live. I just can't imagine these people would RSVP no.

But I have a backup list just in case

I am worried about not making our minimum for sure! All of my family and nearly all of our friends are from OOT town, so it really just depends..

I'm not. We have very small families. Can barely fill a table each with family. So all of our guests are personal friends of ours. There isn't anyone we are inviting that we unsure of. Plus we didn't want strangers at our wedding so none of our parents are inviting thier friends. I don't have to guess if people I don't know are coming or not. I'm sure there will be a few that can't make but it will be ok because we made sure to underestimate our minimum.

I'm not...I'd love to have a higher NO rate...we originally wanted only 75 people, but our list ballooned and now we're inviting close to 150. If we can keep it to 110 MAX I would be ecstatic!!
