Is anyone else having problems..

with vendors calling them back?? We have been trying for weeks (literally) to get in touch with the guy who is handling our catering and now our travel agent is MIA. In addition, my officiant is taking forever to email me a copy of the ceremony format we're using. What's the deal here????? Is it just us???

This is prime vacation season - your vendors might be away. Just continue to leave messages, and I'm sure your calls will be returned.

Well...that's the weird thing. None of them are on vacation. I keep getting emails from my officiant saying he's sorry and will send the ceremony this week (however, 'this week' has stretched into 3 weeks), the catering guy was there the other day, was on the other line and didn't call us back and then the travel agent was there yesterday and someone intercepted our call (plus he was supposed to call us a week ago).
It just seems strange. I really want to get things taken care of and am finding just getting in touch with them a real challenge.

The main problem that I have had is the vendors sending in their insurance policies in to the hall. I also have had problems with them calling back sometimes...but I guess we have to look at it from their side as well, they have a lot of other clients, so we do have to give them a little time to get back to us. If this is a constant thing then there is a problem.
