Is anyone else having this problem?

Our original list was going to be 150..and it has given birth to 35 more lol. We are almost at 200..at the rate we are going.

We are also having issues w/the no children thing. My DH decided to tell his niece who is 11 that she can come to the wedding which I didn't agree with to begin with. She was told to keep it a secret, and she went and teased her cousin about her being able to go..and I put my foot down and said..if she can come then so can the other..or neither. Now his family is giving him 'poop' about us saying neither can come. I don't understand..what don't people understand? They aren't paying for anything..and yet have so much to say. It's still up in the air about whether we are going to allow her to come..but at this rate...I feel like if I don't let her...we will never hear the end of it. Personally his niece is VERY spoiled and has had a crush on him for years. Honestly not my problem..but I feel like if we said no children then no children..there should not be any exceptions for anyone..and that's what is being asked here.

We are having no children under the age of 16 except fg and rb... now i have heard it all from my family about how it is not right, but to be honest they would run around all night and just be everywhere like they were at my shower... sorry but it is our day not theirs! i say go with no!!! that is jmo!! Good Lcuk!

That's exactly how I feel..why can't people understand that it's a party for adults...and a night for them to be alone as well w/out their kids?

FSIL thinks she is bringing her twins, who will be 8 months old - and her 2 year old daugher is the flower girl.

Kids in the BP are only invited. period. get a babysitter and have some fun for the night!

So as of last night..my FH sister called (surprisingly) to ask what was going on w/the guest list and no children situation. Apparently my FMIL decided to take it upon herself to mention to her that her daughter may not be able to come. While on the phone I heard my FH saying that is her son. I'm assuming...his mom said 'why is it ok for her son to come?'...UNBELIEVABLE! As is..his sister stated that she may not be able to afford to have her daughter come to the wedding anyway. So..the please tell me what's the point of everyone else getting upset..if she isn't upset?? At this point..I'm ready to tell off my FMIL..and I'm trying to avoid that. I just can't believe that she did what she did.
