Ugh I just don't feel like doing ANYTHING wedding related. Everytime something comes up that we have to do I'm just like pick whatever you want - I don't care. It's just that I feel like none of it really matters anyway. Like invitations - they are just going to get thrown away. Favors - half the people don't even take them. Ugh - get me out of this funk!!! Sorry I just needed to share!! Thanks!

oh god me too!! i just told FH that i have NO desire whatsoever to plan anymore-- i have all of these little things to still book (DOC, bagpiper, string quartet, HM) and i have NO drive to do it... ugh! i wish they would do themselves

YES!!!! I was so gung-ho in the beginning.
then i was a MOH, so naturally I geared myself towards helping her.
now that her wedding is over, im like, great, now i have to plan mine, sigh.
I think since we still have about a year, it seems so far away sometimes. i think once the 6 months countdown kicks in ill be back in high gear.

I do too.. I'm sure EVERYONE on here does! It's only natural.. You can't concentrate on the SAME thing ALL THE TIME for over a year. It's a little psychotic I think... Don't worry, you'll get it all done... eventually

Maybe thats it!! - I am a BM in a friends wedding and all the attention has been focused on her for a little while and I've been all about doing stuff for her wedding. We just had her bridal shower on Sunday and I was all excited about it and did everything I could for that. Now that it's over, I'm just like 'UGH, back to mine!!'

i know what you mean! esp. with the favors! its like why waste the money for stuff that gets tossed or left to the side!
i mostly get the blues when i see houses i like, i think to myself, damn we could own a house or start shopping around for one! now our house plans will have to wait atleast a year or two after the wedding!

I just want this whole planning thing to be over with, its such a pain to go from vendor to vendor and then back to the vendor that you finally decide on going with.....and then my FH does not help me out with making the appointments or searching for the vendors, so its all on me......I thnk that the only things that i will enjoy doing is the dress, and the wedding rings

yes - i've def gotten the wedding planning blahs. like other gals said, when i think of buying a house i wonder if i'd rather just go to city hall. also, i'm the one doing all the legwork for the planning. so it's not as much fun anymore. i am tired of doing research and calling vendors and talking about prices. . . i know i'll be much happier once all the big things are booked. but for now, i'm in a mild wed plan funk.

My Fi and I had that at the beginning of the summer and since we were also moving, we put ourselves through wedding sabbatical for awhile. We just got back on doing more planning now that's it's only 7 months away! But, I know how you feel
