it is my first year teaching ... and i am tired! i teach italian in a jr/high school. I was told I was getting observed this week so i have been stressed all week ... and she still hasnt come to see me!!! Im going nuts. I know that once she comes in ill be fine ... its just the waiting that kills me ... I just finished going over my lessons for tomorrow because i want to know my stuff inside and out just in case she comes... just tired ... just needed to share. maybe ill be a grandma and go to bed early tonight. ps - plus i have wedding on the brain ... still so much to do! but STD's are all done and sent out! yay

I feel you its my 3rd yr teaching but I am at a new school and its overwhelming. You will do wonderful on your observation! I go to sleep early or nap everyday-it is physically and mentally exhausting! Hang in there!

i so hear you!!! Its my 3rd year and some days it just catches up to me.... its still only sept so hopefully it will get better... hang in there

I'm exhausted, but I'm not a teacher, just haven't been well lately. I have a lot of stuff weighing on me right now, and have been having some health issues for the past few months. Between that and the fact that FH has some scary health issues going on right now too, a stressful work environment, and the wedding on top of it all...I seriously am afraid one of us won't make it alive to the wedding. I just need to take a nice long vacation and get away from it all.

its nice to know we have a couple of days coming up ... i dont think next week i think its the week after ... two days off in the middle of the week ... ahh that is going to feel like a nice breath of fresh air ... cant wait!
its so true .. some days im fine and some days i just want to fall on the floor when i get home. i guess the only thing we can do is take it one day at a time ... and try to get lots of sleep!

I hear you - I am completely and utterly mentally exhausted. With the swings in the market, it has been taking a toll on me (I'm in the securities industry). I can't seem to sleep right - constantly waking up in the night I need a vacation!!
