Is anyone else not TTC yet, but very interested in the subject?

Is anyone else not TTC yet, but very interested in the subject?

We are not TTC. BUT, in the next 6 months we'll know if we want to start trying or wait a few more years.

We are 33, so we don't want to wait more than 3 or 4 more years, but we're not sure if this is the right time for us, for many reasons. But sometimes none of those reasons seem that important in the big scheme of things.

So we're in the 'thinking about TTC' stage.

Anyone else?

I WAS in the thinking about TTC since last December. I got eveyone's advice from this board and they're right...there is no 'right time'. As my husband says...'Just let it happen.'

Me too. I don't know exactly how ling we will wait, but it could be 6 months, could be 4 years. But I do want to be fully prepared and knowing what to expect.

We are definitely thinking about it and want to be prepared. But I don't think we'll start trying for about a year. Any advice to prepare in the next year?

We're thinking about starting next end of summer/ fall.
I'm just poking around for more info as well as to what to expect how to prepare etc.

From what I have read, it's best to give up your vices now. Smoking, excessive drinking. Lose excess weight. And if you have a lot of dental work to do, get going now.

I suppose it doesn't hurt to take vitamins, though that's my own assumption.

I keep thinking I should take up yoga so I can have the 'SERENITY NOW!' down pat.

Me three...I'm anticipating problems (don't know why, no medical evidence to support, it's just a feeling I have) so I pop in every once in a while just to stay informed and to congratulate mommies to be when they find out - that's so exciting!! Don't know when we'll start exactly. I'm thinking 2 to 3years, DH has a perpetual 8!!! but, don't worry, he'll come around

We haven't started yet (but will in the next month or so) but I started charting in July and started the fertility monitor in August because I wanted to see if things looked *normal* (I'm old and cam off the pill after 16 years so I was concerned).

I pretty much stopped the charting after the first month of the FM because it was really annoying and my temp was all over the place even though I would take it at exactly the same time every morning when the alarm went off.

This morning I was at PEAK!! So I am very happy that the first two months of the monitor, I've shown peak fertility. I was really not sure if I would. I'm excited to start really soon!!

We are getting married in 2 months so we are in the 'thinking and planning' stage. We figure about 6mos to 1 yr after the wedding starting TTC. We also want to buy a house in that same time frame so it might be too much at one time. I am 31 and FH is 33 so we con't want to wait TOO long. I mostly come onhere to what I will need to do before stating TTC. Good luck and baby dust to you ladies who are!!

I am taking my last pill tomorrow!!! We will not be starting until January...maybe December at the absolute earliest, but I've found myself obsessed with the topic recently. I'm excited, but also very nervous! Good luck to all who are trying now!!!
