is anyone else OBSESSED with buying xmas stuff on sale now???
My poor husband just laughs at me - but since next year we will (hopefully - assuming all the constructioin is finished!) be in our own home, I feel the need to save us money and get it at 1/2 off - or now 75% off.....
ps - if you are obsessed like me then target and cvs now have stuff for 75% off.

we went to target yesterday. they had wrapping paper for $.74 a roll!!!!!! you can't beat that!! i stocked up (while DH laughed at me)!

i was in target in levittown and saw that paper - i got tissue paper (100 sheets) for 79 cents plus a whole bunch of other stuff....

OMG Am I Obsessed!!
I cannot resist a bargain...I got the 100 sets of christmas lights at Target for 40 cents! IN another 2 or 3 days, they will go to 90...they always do, but you have to be there at the right time!!!

Pschica, I did not buy at 50 becasue i KNEW it was going to 75...I got a lot of what I needed at 75, but if it goes to 90, I will BUY IT ALL!! CANNOT RESIST THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your best bet is to call there when they open if you wanna know when it goes 90, because no sooner the signs are up, people are SCARFING IT UP!!!!

I got my centerpiece bowls at 75% off....I would love to return and re-buy them at 90% off...SOMEONE post when things go to 90% off
I just got some halloween stuff at Jo-anns for 90% off
I wish I was in a house so I could so many more things I saw,,but have no room for now
I got rose colored ribbon for next to nothing, that I will be using for wedding.

thats how we got our ornaments we gave as favors last year as well as most of our ribbon...they have great silver and gold ones and kmart has the martha stewart riboons (don't care what anyone says i still love her!) 60% off!

genevese has 75% off.. we got our icicle lights there...
target 75% off i got my tree stand 4.50, waterford tree topper 3.25... 60 bows .75, 4 shirt boxes .50.... the one in westbury had nooooo lights.....

i spent like $150 last weekend...but saved over $150 because it was all 50-75% off!!! i love it! everyyear i do the same thing!!!

My DH thinks I'm nuts!!!
I made him take me to Harrows on New Years Day and EVERYTHING was at least 50% off. Cards were 80% off.
I got a bunch of stuff!
Last year was the firts time he took me & when I was getting it he said but Christmas is over you don't need this stuff til next year. I had to explain to him how I don't want to pay next years prices when I can pay last years prices basically!
He still thinks I'm nuts but he doesn't argue with me anymore.

I got my favors at Target....Glass votive holkders, 2 for 50 cents, originally 2.00.....they are just lcear, sylinders, but I am going to make them look pretty

OMG!!! I am so glad I am not the only one. I should print this thread out to show FH. I went out with my dad the day after Christmas @ 7AM and bought so much stuff!! I have four rubbermaid tub fulls of stuff!! I got the most adorable dinner plates and matching dessert plates/salad plates, bowls, & glasses. I got so many ornaments for so cheap. I went NUTS in TARGET. They had such good wrapping paper. A lot is picked over now is most stores, but you can still get some really good stuff. I am so glad , I am not the only one obsessed! I really need to stop. I just ordered more stuff the other night from Cratte&Barrell's online clearance sale--definetely check out their website! great stuff!! keep up the great work ladies!! Why pay full price? all it takes is a little thinking ahead! next year @ the holidays, we will still be settling in to married life and now I Don't have to worry about not wanting to spend a lot on decorations!! FH was cute about it though. he was excited! but glad that my dad volunteered to take me @ 7 AM! lol

Someone please tell me when the stuff goes on sale for 90% off at Target? The closest Target to me is in Nyack - half an hour away and the only way I'll know is if someone tells me. I can't go in there daily - too far away!
