I missed it...I watched Extreme makeover with danielle and my inlaws....

OK, well, Caleb decides to adopt Lindsey, so she is an official heir. This, of course, pisses Julie off who saw this coming last week. Lindsey is psyched. Ryan, not so much.
In traditional O.C. style, a party is to be thrown to announce this.
Julie then convinces Caleb he’d be stupid to adopt her without a DNA test. He consults Sandy who says as a lawyer he’d say get it, but as a father he’s says don’t you’ll just make Lindsey cry. Julie then goes to Lindsey’s mom’s house & tells her to talk Lindsey out of the adoption, or else there will be a DNA test. Mom freaks.
Apparently she was never positive who the father was.
She then (stupidly) goes to Ryan to talk Lindsey out of the adoption They fight. He goes t to the party anyway, runs into Lindsey’s mom. She asked him to have Lindsey come out, he tries, they fight again, then Caleb tells her he is not going to adopt her until after the DNA test, and as predicted she cries &says, “I don’t care what the DNA says, my real father wouldn’t treat me like this.”
Julie saves the party by telling the guests the big surprise is the sill Magazine she is creating.
Seth is all Mopey thinking about is summer & Jack had sex in the hotel last week. He asks Zach, who freaks, tells summer. Summer yells at Seth, but then tells him no. He’s all happy. Then Zach tells him he was waiting until Marriage, but now he I just waiting until Tuscany. Seth, once again is depressed. Ryan eventually tells him to get over it , so he tells Summer he is over her & have fun in Tuscany. She tries to hide her disappointment. She told Marissa, that she doesn’t want to have sex in Tuscany because she can’t get Seth out of her head.
Alex invites Marissa to meet some of her friends & wants her to bring Summer & Marissa admits she hasn’t told Summer about them. She tries, fails, and invites summer to Caleb’s party instead of Alex’s. Goes to Alex’s, to talk to her, see all her friends making out & gets upset & goes to Caleb’s party, tells Alex she’ll be back.
Then she tells Summer, summer is confused, but ok.
Marissa returns to Alex, they talk, all is well, they go out to meet up with the friends. Alex seems to really dig Marissa.
Kirsten wants to go to Old Guy’s memorial. Sandy says she can’t it is just going to be him & The Fugitive, since she can’t be seen in public. FBI comes to chat up Kirsten. Sandy tells Fugitive no more smooches. He comes in sees FBI’s calling card, asks Kirsten what she said. SHE said she just told them Old Guy wanted Sandy’s help to clear his daughter’s name.
SHE yells at him basically the he cares more about Fugitive then her.
Then she and her color coordinated lipstick go & ask Fugitive is she loves Sandy & she says yes & she call her a home wrecker.
Sandy later goes there with take out & she is gone. Left a note saying Kirsten told her to go away. Sandy is pissed yells at Kirsten at the shindig.
In the end Sandy, Ryan & Seth are all dejected, watching Hell Boy & no one wants the Chinese food.
Next week: The fugitive is somehow back & gets in a wreck with Sandy. Marissa tells her mother about Alex.
