UGGHHH!!!! Everything I pick out is always like the most expensive thing you can get.. French tulips, peonies, platinum 5 carateternity band (just kidding), HM to Fiji.. Our hall, Our hummer limo, the photographer I want.. the video..LOL.. WTF??? does anyone else feel like this??

No, you are not the only one. I was warned today by parents and FI to stop spending money and to start saving, since I'm so picky and want everything to be perfect. I made it very clear to them that I only plan on getting married once (no offense to brides getting married for the 2nd time).

Oh god, just what we are spending on our hall would make your jaw drop, never mind all the other expensive things I have 'fallen in love with' I think it's in my nature to love the expensive things!

glad to know I am not the only one!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really trying to cut down on costs but everything I like is expensive and I don't want to compromise (I've been dreaming about this day forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!) But I think I'm gonna have to start because if we don't got the cash what are you gonna do right?

My Dad always told me I have champagne taste. I never realized it until I started planning this weddng. I just went to pick out invitations and I was actually contemplating getting $1500 invitations. I settled and spent about $750.
I notice now that when I really want something and it is ridiculously expensive I reason with myself and somehow make it okay in my brain to have it.
I really need to stop, I only have 10 months left until the big day.

i've always known i have expensive taste...i just figured one of these days my bank account was going to catch up with it...sad to say it hasn't...i've definitely learned to put priorities to what we will be doing for the wedding, otherwise i will need 'abc' to pay for my wedding also

I already knew going into this that that would happen to me!!! Worst part about it is, so does FH!!! And his tastes end up being even more expensive than mine!!! So I have to try and keep him out of some of the decision making because he'll just end up picking the most expensive thing!!! If I would have left it up to him, we would've been having our reception at Oheka Castle

ya know, it's funny because when we started this wedding planning thing I kept saying, 'simple and inexpensive' somehow I've morphed into a bridezilla with the most expensive taste, and my FH just keeps saying 'whatever you want honey' - he's too good.

I have been trying to keep everything inexpensive yet elegant...that DOES NOT exist! I have sacrificed on things that are not to important to spend more in other areas. This is not working either...Finally I just said F$#! it I am getting what I want

i defintely am. i pretty much new it already, but i am really good at finding bargains on the expensive everyday stuff that i like. it's a bit more difficult to find them on wedding stuff. i want to cut back on the flowers, but my fiance has been taking that over. it is actually pretty funny so i just might let him. he has great taste and we pretty much want the same thing.

Me too. I had a nice reasonable budget which is growing with each vendor. We need to make and save some serious money in the next 9 months!

I have the natural ability to pick out the most expensive item (and not even on purpose).
What is even worse, I can never find anything comparable. I am so picky that I will have many choices and I will only like 'that one' and it ends up being the most expensive . . .
I plan on being very poor for the rest of my life . . .
