Is anyone else really worried about the way certain family members..

or friends are going to act at your wedding I am so nervous! I just spent Saturday with my family and they really are crazy! They get so out of hand once drinking is involved and I am worried that they will ruin my day!

i think you should talk to them and tell them how important your day is..and its not about them having fun its really about you..so that they can maybe keep it down a little...

yes my sisters after a few drinks but they have grown up a bit and i think they will behave or at least till after hours party

It wouldn't work, they just are not like that. If you say something to them it just causes a fight.. but for instance this weekend was my godsons communion so once we got back to the house for dinner everyone started drinking and my brother in law and uncle ended up dancing on my sisters coffee table... and then by the end of the night all of the men were in a huge shouting match The table dancing I could deal with because I dont think they would do that at my wedding, its just the fighting that gets me worried... like a literally have anxiety over it. For my sisters wedding you can see the men of my family screaming at each other at one point on her video its just so embarrassing!

I'm worried that some will drink too much...there are one or two people in both of our families that are former alcoholics..

I'm worried about having to listen to people all day tell me they would have done things differently (ie. my mom and ESPECIALLY my grandma).

I'm afraid my mom will try really hard to be the center of attention and act like she's so awesome and the best mother ever (and be really manipulative about it) because she paid for everything. I'm grateful she's footing the bill, but I don't want to be made to feel bad for it on the day of, like she does every day now.

And my grandma has this personal vendetta against me and even when I'm not even talking to her, like showing my aunt pictures of cakes that I like my grandma starts shaking her head and talking about how I'm selfish to make people eat the cake that I want to get and how everything I want is so expensive that if I want something I should pay for it myself. I CAN'T STAND HER! I'm afraid on the day off she's going to walk around the entire day telling people that I'm a spoiled princess.

If I see even the slightest bit of attitude from them, or from anyone, I am going to avoid them all day. I definitely don't need that on the best day of my life.

I think for you, you should mention something to your mom (or if you think she'll get angry, a trusted aunt). Say something like, 'I saw how it was at my sister's wedding, and I don't want it to be like that.' Put an emphasis on the arguing part (and not so much the drinking part). Say something like, 'if people get into screaming fights I will throw them out because it's my day and I'm working really hard to make it the best day ever and I will not tolerate drama and fighting.' That has always worked for me in the past when I was worried about certain people starting fights.

lets hire body guards for day of! Mine can throw my dad and uncles out and yours can throw out grandma and mom! They can all meet in a little room and learn to be nice!!

Anger management and therapy! Love it!

I just really don't want to the focus to be on stupid sh*t when it should be on how much FH and I love each other. I hate people, specifically drama causing women.

FH is worried...not about our friend drinking...he's worried that certain family members on his side are weird and not sure how they will dress or at...

I was sure my little sister would be out of control moody and unpredictable.. so she isn't in my bridal party! (I'm not having any bms anyway.)

But after some crazy stunts she's pulled and things she's said, she may not be invited at all. it just wouldn't be worth it. (Especially since not many people can subdue her.)

OMG I have told FH that if anyone gets out of hand and i mean ANYONE myself as wee as my MOH will personally throw them out with a smile thanks for comminggg now get the heck out!!!!

I'm a little worried about certain friends of the FH. They can act like such @ s s h o l e s when they are all together and drinking... I'm probably going to tell the FH to talk to his friends.

I have some concerns about some of Fh's family members who are just cruel people. They are miserable with themselves. I seen how they act at a wedding so our solution is to not invite them

I was worried about this with one of my sisters, who would have had a ball with free liquor, so I expressed my feelings to her. She decided to check into rehab soon after the conversation. How sweet. I love my younger sister so much!
