I agree. I was so relieved and happy when I found my dress, but then I was sad because it was so much fun!!

OK!! Thanks Kristen!!
It's so much fun!! Enjoy it!! I made 3 appointments and tried on every dress in every style (within my budget of course). I'm glad I did - b/c I bought the one dress I never thought I'd like!!

I am sad about it mostly because it wasn't the experience I had hoped. My mother is deceased and my bridesmaids are lost in space!! It was fun; but an awkward experience for me!!

Mine was really quick becasue I had already narrowed my dresses down to 3 and I picked the one I was looking at for a year. The whole thing took 30 minutes. I can't really say I am sad because it wasn't that great of an experience for me.

I'm sad... but I'm the FIRST to get married... so I've got plenty of friends and family members who I plan on tagging along with!

I havent found my dress yet.. I just really started looking but I already miss hunting around for vendors I've already booked! Isnt that strange?! I complain about having so much to do and running around .. and then I finally find 'the vendor' and im happy for a few weeks.. and then sad b/c its one less thing to do lol

Re: Is anyone else sad that
Uh... I had my fill, I think! I shopped for a solid 3 months, almost every weekend, and was squished, pinned, zipped into and statically shocked by well over 75 gowns!!! I paraded around, ooh-ed and aah-ed, was fawned over, and pranced around in enough gowns for THREE brides!!
It was fun, but to be honest, by the end... it was starting to not be that much fun anymore. I never wanted it to get to THAT point! It is a little sad to think that you will never get to do this again, but I definitely took advantage of the opportunity so I know I can never say that I didn't shop around enough I'm trying not to focus on those kinds of thoughts because I don't want to go through wedding planning withdrawal once this is all over. I try to focus on the fact that I can't wait to start living my life with Jimmy as his wife!

I'm definitely not sad!! I thought it was exhausting trying on all those dresses and I was glad when I found mine!
I can't wait to go and it is sad, its like you just don't want to pick one yet so that you can still look

I guess I was a little bummed for a bit.. but I ordered my dress in Aug.. it came in in Nov..
Now all I can think about is stealing time to go try it on and play with it.
I love my dress and I like being in it. Not even slightly tempted by the women in the other dresses.. this one's mine! *LOVE*

No, I was happy to have that done with. But then again, I'm a person who hates shopping. It's such a pain to change into so many dresses. Or go into a store, and be totally disappointed that they had no dresses I really liked.

I second that ... I might be the only bride-2-be that didn't enjoy dress shopping. Mostly because I am extreeeemly picky and never think ANYTHING looks good on me! Even now, though I love my gown and it was truly the 1st one I loved when I saw it..I still cannot truly 'envision' myself in it ...
But I do like to shop around for the other things, actually! That is FUN (I know - I'm strange)

Re: Is anyone else sad that
YES!!! I was so excited when I found my dress but part of me was a little sad because I knew it was over. I loved trying on dresses- I felt like a princess every time and I could do it all the time (as long as I didn't have the pressure to actually pick and buy one
