Is anyone else stressed about holidays/wedding planning??
Argh.
I'm having a freakout day today - time, money, planning, holidays!!!
Is anyone else worried that if they put some wedding planning items off for the holidays then they won't have enough time to get them done?
The biggest things I haven't done are set up ceremony musicians, limousines and I haven't finalized the wording on my invites...do you think I can wait until after the holidays for this??
I just want to enjoy Christmas and relax, but on top of shopping/baking/wrapping/working I feel like I have to get wedding things done, too!

i think we ALL are we are also saving for a condo which we close on in 5 months

I know that everything I am working towards/for is sooo worth it, but sometimes it is so overwhelming. FH is job hunting too - on top of everything else!!!

Right before November FH and I made a pact to not do anything wedding related until the new year. We have all the major vendors booked and we didn't want to miss the season by doing wedding related things (we are fortunate, we still have 9 months to go). The time flies by so fast and it's my favorite time of year and I knew that if I tried to do wedding things and the holiday thing, i'd be stressed beyond belief.
so far, so good. I think you have a little bit of time, so enjoy the next 3 weeks, then hop backon the planning wagon!

Those things can totally wait!!!
I've stopped planning for our wedding because of all the other things we have to do for the holidays. I haven't gotten to my invitations yet either and I'm planning on making ours, but it should be fine since we plan to send them out late Feb.
Don't stress, its nice to take a break from the stress of it all!

Im stressed cus I have to get my invites addressed and mailed by mid january and I don't like my handwriting, so Im hoping some of my friends will have time to help me!

Well, yes I am. I am a little bit strapped for cash and wanting to get my christmas shopping done. I think I will be ok, but yea,,, it would be nice to put it aside for a bit. I think Danielle and her FH have the right idea

That's what I was trying to do too - I think it's smart. But then I start to freak out that I won't get things done in time. I just have to calm down!!!

I am not trying to stress about money too much but I already informed family in advance that this year for christmas is about kids only! :) I am getting others little meaningful gifts though.
We are done with a lot of big vendors...just trying to save up the balances though! :)

I do feel stressed since I am finishing up the semester at school with finals....
working and training on a new job at work and then i will be out for 2 weeks starting the 20th and i feel like i am going to forget everything.
then fh comes home and wont be home for 10 months so he feels the need to get alot done regarding the wedding since he wont be around to help- ughh the silly man doesnt realize we have a YEAR still so unfortunately while i am off for 2 weeks i will be doing wedding stuff but i cant complain bec i will be with my FH!!!

You are totally right! I guess it comes with the territory! I feel like I got proposed to yesterday and now my wedding is under 6 months away!!

I'm not stressed about the holidays and wedding planning. I'm stressed because of work, school and the holidays! After Thursday, I'll be a little less stressed lol.
