My engagement party is Saturday (the 19th) and I am SO nervous. I don't remember the last time I had a party for ME lol I usually prefer to be the guest! All the attention is intimidating but FH tells me it's all in my head. The whole idea of the wedding day makes me nervous, too. All day long people are looking at you... is anyone else as nervous as I am about this?
The only part I'm really nervous about is walking down the aisle, I may be doing a shot beforehand lol.
I'm actually really excited about it. I love being the star! lol
I am the same way! I prefer to be a guest and that is in part why I didn't even want a big wedding because I don't want all the focus on me but FH LOVES it! Haha. He helps me come out of my shell in settings like that and we had a blast!
We had our Engagement Party yesterday, I wasnt nervous about the attention I just wanted it to run smoothly & all the details to come together. it was a great success! you will have a great time
I love being the center of attention so I'm so excited for all of this!!! I'm an only child so I guess I'm just used to it :)
FH's parents had a small party for us the day we came back from RI, where we got engaged. I knew about it because he told me that day, and even though it was just our immediate family members, I was still really nervous about it! But I think I just get nervous about my family and his family together in general. They get along great, but sometimes certain people just get dramatic and I end up dreading those gatherings. But yeah, I think it's totally normal to be nervous in those situations! But in a good way :)

I think we have the same mind. I sent out my invites January 4 and haven't gotten many replies and a few who are unable to come. My FH's aunt never got the invite and now my mind is going even more!! We didn't meet our DJ, but friends have used him in the past. I don't love where we are having it. SO MANY REASONS WHY! We'll be fine ;)
I am nervous about getting everything done and it coming out the way I envisioned. There are so many things I had forgotten about or didn't even consider and am worried thats gonna happen!
My engagement part is April 20 and I am still trying to plan it because my parents keep putting it off!! We got engaged in July and have been trying to plan the party since then, but I feel like my parents don't want to do anything, but they are the ones paying for it. So I don't know what to do :(
