Is anyone elses FH doing this?!

My FH picked out my engagement ring by himself and it was gorgeous!!! and it was exactly what I would have picked. Now he has decided that he is going to pick out my wedding band also, and I can't see it until he puts it on my finger on the day of our wedding! I was a little confused at first, but then I thought about it, and I think it's kinda cool. He says 'I won't see your dress and everything until that day, so you need a surprise too' I totally trust his taste because he couldn't have picked a more beautiful e-ring....I was just sharing this with you ladies and wondering if your FH did the same thing to any of you.

That is so sweet. Mine came as a set so I won't have any surprises. He is not good in that area.

I've already seen my band (actually it;s sitting in my jewelry box!) but I think what your FH is doing is SO sweet and thoughtful!!!

He picked out my ring on his own, maybe with a little help from his parents. We haven't really talked much about the wedding ring yet. I think we should, with just over 3 months to go. How far in advance are we supposed to do this? Should I be nervous?

FH chose e-ring on his own and did a great job, but I think we are looking for bands together. It's sweet that he wants to surprise you though!

sounds like our fh's should get together - he wont tell me anything about my wedding band - we decided that the rings arent going to match so literally the sky is the limit here - i dont know what to expect and to be quite honest i am kind of nervous about it

When we went shopping for our bands, FH fell in love with one ring. So I agreed to it even though it wasn't what I had envisioned. It goes perfectly with my family heirloom e-ring and it also looks great by itself, which is what we wanted.

That's sweet, my FH wouldn't even order a drink for me without making sure it was exactly what I wanted, but if your FH has good taste, let him do it. It makes it more like a gift.
