is anyone getting married on a thursday or a holiday?
If so what month of the year and how much are paying pp for the reception? did it make a real difference in terms of prices? and how did you go about it?

We are getting married on a Thursday. May 27, 2004 to be exact. It is the thursday b4 memorial day weekend. Believe it or not we got a GREAT deal. Having your wedding on a Thursday brings the price down by $10-$20 a head.

We picked that date mostly due to work. It was convenient for us to take off that time of the year for the HM.
If you don't care about having a weekend wedding, Thursday is the way to go!
