I'm getting married in one month and I'm still not sure what to get my FH for the wedding. What is everyone else doing????

We're too poor Our honeymoon is our gift to each other. We haven't had the opportunity to go on vacation since our daughter was born & before she was born we were too young to go anywhere together. The honeymoon will be our first vacation together & the first time we've had alone in 2 years.

FH is from Boston, so I wanted to try to go to Marco Island in Florida for a long weekend which is about 45minutes from Fort Myers where the Red Sox have spring training , so I thought we could go to spring training game. we'll see how the funds are when it gets closer

We decided not to do wedding gifts (we're too broke!) and just consider the HM our wedding gift to each other.

That is what we are doing as well!!

I thought we were the only broke ones around!

i am i just am undecided for now. I was thinking of surprising him and taking him skydiving and do something spontaneous like that but i think hell kill me...so i wouldnt be able to tell him what were doing or where were going until we get to the field...but i dont know if i even have enough guts to do it lol

Oh Milana..skydiving is the best!! I did it twice!!

wow thats awesome...makes me want to do it even more! i could hardly get myself to do it though but everyone tells me it is so much fun and so worth it...i just dont know if its smart to do a week before my wedding lol.

We are paying for this wedding ourselves and we are broke.

I would live to get him a big fancy watch, but that is out of the question.

So I decided to get him something that isn't too expensive and something sentimantal.

I am buying him some cufflinks for the day. He is picking them out though.--He has picky taste.

I bought him a funny t-shirt that says 'Game Over'

I will probably buy him a gift certificate for his barber shop to get 'The Works' before the wedding. If not, maybe cologne.

Probably soem other small items.

I am giving him these things at our rehersal dinner.

The last thing I am giving him is sentimental. I am writing him kind of love letter and I am making a scrapbook of my favorite times that we have spent together,
I am adding postcards and ticket stubs.

I will give that to him to open the night before our wedding when we are without each other. I asked him to write me a love letter too to read.

I hope it works out. I need more ideas for small things!

Well, since I bought him a Tag Heur watch as his engagement gift, I didnt want to get him a wedding gift. But then he bought me my day of jewerly. A BEAUTIFUL necklace with matching earings so I bought him a white gold bracelet that he picked out.
