I am having a traditional photographer and a photojournalist. So I guess, yes, I am having 2.

Yes! It was very important to me! I had this fear that if I had only one photographer, they wouldn't be able to avoid missing something. We went with Thomas Paul and get two photographers. One will be with me getting ready, and the other will be with Jim. Two sets of eyes, and two perspectives in different locations. Cant be beat!

I am also. I wanted to get the guys and girls getting ready, and I also wanted to get as many pre-wedding photos done as possible.

Does your photographer mention anything in your contract about hiring another photographer. Sometimes photographer put a clause where they are the only photographer shooting your wedding unless you get a 2nd photographer they work with.
I am using Erica Lyn and Gail Chatelain both are under 2K

we had a traditional photographer and a photojournalist....it was nice one caught what the other missed or tooks shots from one angle while the other took from another angle so we got teh best shot for every pic HTH

i thought you would get a 2nd photographer through your own photographer or company you booked with. But yeah most photographers dont allow for you to hire a 2nd photographer that they are not associated with, and just booking a completely different place.
I hired a 2nd photographer but got it through my photographer.

Yes we are having 2, this is something that is very important to me because I want pictures of FH getting ready, and with his family before the ceremony.

I'm having two.
It also would be easier to hire both photographers from the same company since they are used to working together. 2 photographers from 2 different companies might get in each other's way.
