This process of collecting everyone's address and making sure they are correct for the invitations is NOT FUN AT ALL - And what makes things even better is I don't have them all yet - My parents and FH are not completing their part of the assignment - I cannot wait until every address is completed and I can move on
Ok I AM DONE.............. For now

I was hoping that this thread was full of sarcasm I am getting my bridal shower list together and having so much fun collecting addresses

the best was getting an e-mail a MONTH after mailing out the invites of someone's NEW address...hello? It's called Mail Forwarding!!!!!!!

I had been chasing addresses for practically our entire engagement. Finally I said such and such a date was the last day because I needed to send the envlopes to the calligrapher. I got them right away after that 1 1/2 years later

UUGhh... It is the worst and FH has been soo helpful in getting them from his family and friends.

tell me about it!! i told FMIL i needed her guest list with addreses by 1/1. i get the list w/ NO addresses by 3/1 and then i got most of the addresses by 5/1!!!

Fh is supposed to get the addresses of his family and friends. Mine are done. I gave him as much info as I had on HIS family. My excuse for the rest is that I don't have their phone numbers, so he's got to make some calls. What is he waiting for ??!!! I've got to give him a deadline to get this done or else he'll wait until the last minute.

I was doing that last night. I wanted to start addressing the envelopes so that would be one less thing to do but I can't. Of course it's all of FH's people...

I HATE getting everyone's addresses- defintely my LEAST favorite activity so far

I made everyone give them to me for the STD's. I am glad I did and don't have to fret when the invites go out. Plus a few were wrong!!

Thank God FMIL was visiting a while ago and brought her address book and just ran down it so I wrote everything down (that also got me in trouble too tho considering she gave me way too many ppl to invite from there side that FH doesnt even like know and I sent them save-the-dates regret that) or else that wouldve been a huge pain...and i have all the addresses from my side of the family. But I dont envy you having to search addresses out. Agh!!!!
