Is anyone having the problem of.......

NOT knowing whether or not you want to hyphenate your name or just take his name completely??

NO WAY! lol...i'm sorry, i'm no help - i can't wait to get rid of my terrible last name!! FH's isn't the best EVER but it's way better than mine!

I have been back and forth on this one. Mine is a bit tougher because this is my 2nd wedding. I kept my married name because of my daughter. I'm still not sure what I want to do.

The funny thing is i dont have a problem with his last name at all, it actually goes with my name too well!! But..... i just feel like im giving away apart of me, heritage, family, etc....and besides that i like my maiden name!! hahaha

I understand what you mean... I think hypenated names are really sophisticated... I love my last name but i also hate it (its a siilly last name)

I have a brother who JUST has a son, so the name lives on!!!

FH's mom is remarried, her drivers licence still says her 1st husbands last name (FH's last name) She kept it because it was easier for FH (in school, dr.s etc). She has been remarried since FH was probably 10. She has still not changed it. hahaha.. their telephone # is still in old name too. oh well.. I think when you have kids and you are remarried, its just easier to keep the same last name. As a teacher, different last names is so confusing. I never know what to call my parents hehe

I am really torn about this! I really love my last name...I don't really like his...he is open to whatever I choose...we will see....probably just go with his...!! Who knows...

I think that if you can't decide, hyphenate, that way you can go under either name or even both!
