is anyone having their reception somewhere else than li?

I know that this is an li board but i'm trying to find out if anyone here is having their reception in queens or somwhere else. If you don't mind telling me how much you are paying, where, day and time of year. I'm trying to get ideas. thanks.

There is a place called Autun's in Queens that does weddings I think it is btwn $50-70 pp. Also Caffe on the Green might be worth a look. It is $55 and up. Hope this helps. If I can find more I'll let you know.

I am having my reception at Terrace on the Park in Flushing.

I used to live in that apartment building right behind Caffe on the Green...very nice place...I ate dinner there a few times.

I AM GETTING MARRIED IN BROOKLYN IN A PLACE CALLED 'SIRICO'S' IN DYKER HEIGHTS. THEY HAVE GREAT FOOD!!!!

I live in Brooklyn, and my whole wedding is in Brooklyn. I went to see caffe on the green, pretty and i've heard the food is good. The room was set up a little different than a normal hall, and i think it has a small dance floor for larger parties. The price i was quoted seemed a bit high though. My reception is in a place called Giando on the Water, by the Williamsburg Bridge. I think the place is beautiful, nice view of Manhattan. The price was about the same I was quoted in Caffe on the Green and Leonards of Great Neck. If you want some more details feel free to f.m.

I am getting married at the Essex house in the city by Central Park. Try nycityweddings.com for more city wedding info it may be helpful.

There's also Jericho Terrace on Jericho Turnpike, (I went to see that before I booked) Their bridal suite is huge!! it was nice if you don't want land and landscaped gardens. Terrace on the Park is in Flushing - I've never been there.

what about dante's in jackson heights.
or the astoria manor?
roma view is great, but it's very expensive.

I am getting married at The Glen Island in westchester.

You can defintely negotiate at the Roma View.
