Is anyone having their wedding ceremony at OLD WESTBURY GARDENS?
I tried calling them today and the lady who is in charge is out sick, and they are not sure when she will be back at work. So, I am very curious because I really want to have my cermony at a different place other than the reception hall. Anyone have any info like what if it rains, can they do the ceremony indoors at OWG?
The lady i spoke with was not that helpful so i am hoping maybe someone on these boards has some info about it.

I actually just booked my ceremony there last weekend. If it rains, they put up a tent for you. Its included in the fee. They will not do it inside b/c they are affraid of ruining the wood floor with all the high heals! If you want more info FM me. I'm glad to help.

I thought you could only take pictures there. I didn't know you could do the ceremony there!!!

I love the gardens, but we were there on a day it rained all morning and the tent was set up, however you and guests have to walk through gardens and grass, that if it's raining will be wet. Just as a little FYI if that would bother you.
If it's a nice day I think it's great, but this is LI and the weather is so unpredictable.

right now diana filbry, who is the only contact is out sick, i have no idea of the cost, and i heard about the tent set up. I dont mind the cost as long as its not like crazy expensive, im just wondering about the details, and wish i could speak with diana, but who knows when she will be back, If anyone has details and has booked and looked into OWG for ceremonies please FM me...i cant stand waiting for information lol
