I had 104 guests and spend a total of 12K on the wedding.
-did not have a cocktail hour, just a 4 hour reception.
-paid in cash, so I asked them not to charge tax.
-limo picked up DH and his friends, then same limo picked me up after they were dropped off at church. so we only needed the 1.
-used CP's and cake that the hall provided.
-made our own cd favors.
-went sooooo cheap with flowers. It was a last minute decision. It was going to be 1800, then we changed it to 240.00.
-dress at David's Bridal
-friend took photos
-brother did video
-used the house DJ

you can do it!!!!

RD-BBQ at my house.

When I was shopping around I found a couple of places that offered packages for 10,000 that included a lot of things. I remember Ariana Waterfall, Marconi Manor & Patchogue manor offering packages.

heres a few things I did to keep it low... No bridal party just a best man and MOH.....No video...Flowers from stop and shop SHHH! it a secret!...most people don't think they do weddings!....pick up drop off service for limos!.....a friend DJ...carnival cruise for honeymoon(great prices)If you have to splurge,do it on the photographer! I hope this helps!

Yes, we are doing a fri night in fall instead of Sat. night in summer - saved $25 per head. Also, our DJ is GREAT and is $650 (High voltage sounds - Vinny). We are not doing a videographer, I know about 10 people who have gotten married in the past 2 years and only 2 of them have watched their video more than once. My cousin who is a prof photographer is doing the pix, so we are saving a good deal there.
