I had to move out of the city last year and then in w/ my then fh...my parents were kind enough to take care of Sunny while I worked for them at thier home - I just got a terrific job about 2 months ago in White Plains and my parents have business where they travel about onths straight this winter. They feel like it's cutting into their lifestyle to take care of the dog - and we are not allowed to have any pets in our building.
I am so saddened by this especially only 2 weeks post-wedding!
Sunny is an amazing dog who would be a great companion pet for anyone. She doesn't require alot of walking - she loves to be around people. playing and is very mellow - nopt hyper and she gets along with everyone. She likes kids, but never lived with any-she things she is a lapdog!
I have had her since she was about 4 (I know her for her entire life) and she has been an amazing pet - She doesn't bother anyone & she loves carrots!!
If anyone is looking for a dog who needs a good home, let me know. Her picture is my avatar. She is living w/my parents in Merrick.

How big is she?
Does she get along with other dogs? Is she passive?
(I have a dog and would love another one, but my guy is super agressive sometimes with other dogs, unless the dog is small)

she doesn't get along well with cats at all... she is a pitbull mix - a really wonderful dog - she thinks she is a lapdog... i will post another pic of her...she will stay with us until i get her the best home possible!

My FH has two cats so I dont think that will work well, sorry I hope you find him a great home.

I meant since she was 4 - I got her from my ex-boyfriend who moved home to Ireland... She was tiny tiny when he got her - I will edit that...

sunny is still in merrick w/ her grandparents.. they are are in no rush to find her a home, we are just worried b/c they are going away for about 8 weeks and at this point in their lives, they aren't into having a dog...the responsibility and all... When they go away I can sit her but she will be home alone all day b/c i work in white plains...she is very used to having people around all the day. I am going to work something out w/ the petsitter but still the ideal situation would be for her to be in a place w/ people who would love her as much as we do but can spend more time with her.
She is an amazing pet and would great for someone who is looking for a dog who doesn't need hours of exercise - she loves to sit on your lap and watch tv, eat bones and be silly! I'll try and add more pics...
