outside their home parish? I do not want to get married at the church that i belong to so i was wondering what kind of red tape i need to go through when i go visit other church's i am interested in?

It was easy. Had to get a letter of permission releasing me to be married at the church of my choice. They placed a raised seal on the short letter. (Catholic)

Yes it is actually pretty easy. You have to get a letter of permission from your parish and sometimes if you go to a church that is not your parish you have to pay a small extra fee ( My church charges an extra $50 'donation' if they are not your parish)

HI. I am getting married outside my church...It was actually no problem at all. As long as you finished all your steps then you are fine....you just have to get the paper work from your church.
