taking pics at a different location betweeen ceremony and reception, provided they are not at the same location?
See, my church is at 2pm in Richmond Hill, Queens the CH starts at 5pm at Jericho Terrace and we don't want to miss a minute of it.
We've been tryint o decide if we want a full mass or not and also trying to decide if we're goign to take pics at the Gazebo in Garden City. Afraid we won't have time.
If I had to choose one, I'd choose the mass, but I don't want to miss out on pics!
Is anyone NOT taking pics at a different location??

Re: Is anyone NOT...
I got married at the same place so we didn't have a choice...but I do know a friend that did take her pictures early in the morning at Argyle Lake in Babylon. My hubby and I recomended to her since we had thought about it and decided not to. It depends on if you wanna see him before the wedding....or I have heard of some brides going another day with the photographer to take pics...but that means getting all made up again.

Re: Is anyone NOT...
I am not taking pics at a different location between the ceremony and the reception. I am also getting married in the Richmond Hill/Ozone Park area of Queens and having the reception at Jericho. My Ceremony starts at 4:30 (not a full mass) and the CH starts at 8:15pm. We are going straight to the hall to take pics.

I am not and I know many, many people do but I just feel like it will be too busy and crazed. Plus, we plan on doing a lot fo fmaily pics before the ceremony (each with our own families) and at church then followed by pics at our RH...I just think it would stress me out to eb going too mnay places....

Re: Is anyone NOT...
I'm getting married at Jericho Terrace, and we're going to take all of our pictures there. This way, we can spend a lot of time getting all the pics we want, and then there is no need for limos.

Re: Is anyone NOT...
You may not have enough time. My ceremony started at 3pm and my CH started at 7pm and I was tight.
You could always take pictures on the grounds of HCJ and at JT. My pictures from both places are some of my favorites!!

Re: Is anyone NOT...
I am not because our church is at 5 and we are having a full mass and the reception starts at 7:30. We are going to do ours at the place since Chateau La Mer has a pretty outdoor area on the water.

I am not either b/c we are having it all in one place, and the site itself is soooo beautiful! We have trees, water, even a playground if we wanna get silly!

Re: Is anyone NOT...
We're not sure yet. I can't see having to pay someone to take pictures on their property (JMO - our money is tight so we can't do it), so we're most likely not going to OWG or GC gazeebo(although both places are beautiful)!
FI and I are debating where to go, but taking them at CLM is always a good option because of the beautiful backdrop of the water. Plus they have a gazeebo and waterfall on site AND the great pics I'm sure that will come from the yacht!!!
