Sending photo thank you cards?

Anyone out there going with the traditional thank you card without the pictures????

I'm thinking of getting a very small amount for immediate family members, and sending regular ones that match our invitations for everyone else.... hmmmmm!

This is what I'm doing as well. I know I won't get my pics for a while and I think it would be easier for me to just handwrite the matching thank yous - especially to older guests who are into etiquitte - the photo thnak you's will take too long. Also, there's not too many people who I think would WANT a pic of us, but I may wait on those who I think would really want one and senda photo one to those few people.

No photos for us! Ours match our invites and say our names. I'll send photos to some people, but honestly I wouldn't care if someone sent me a photo or not as long as they sent a thank you.

I wasn't going to originally but when my cousin got married she sent her thank you's out right away, before the pictures were ready (she's SO GOOD that way!) and my (very large extended) family is still picking on her 2 years later becasue there was no picture in the thank you. I'm just not tough enough to take all they have to dish out.

I used informal note cards. I never look at the photo thank yous that people send me past the day I get them. My family is just not into the photo thank you thing. They go in an envelope and in a box. Mine came in a package too but I preferred to negotiate for more 5x7's instead. These are ours(actually ecru but they didnt scan well) :

ETA: They matched our invites and we can continue to use them for correspondence after the wedding.
