Borrow ANYTHING.....a lipstick, perfume, it could be anything. For something old, I am planning on pinning a ring of my grandma's (she has passed) to the inside of my dress.....
Come on!! You can think of SOMETHING!!!!!

I am doing it, but I have to find something borrowed. My mo mgave my my great-grandmother's antique pearl ring for my b-day this past year to wear on my wedding day, but I have heard of other brides taking an heirloom & pinning it into thir dress if it does not match the dress.

Re: is anyone Not doing the Something
I did what Sage is going to do, I borrowed my Grandmother's E-ring and pinned it in my dress (took care of OLD and BORROWED ) Of course I should mention that by the end of the night my dress was getting so heavy I just ripped it off and forgot that I had Gma's ring, gave the dress to my Mother who was going to bring it to the cleaners for me the next day. I remembered at like 4:30am, I had to call my mom and tell her to find the ring...thank God she did....

Re: is anyone Not doing the Something
I think I did it by accident. I borrowed my mothers old diamond earrings. The new was the dress. And I wore blue underwear

Re: is anyone Not doing the Something
I totally forgot about this until the night before. My sister ended up giving me a penny from 1996 (my something old) which I kept in my shoe.
One of my bridesmaids let me borrow a beautiful pearl heart-shaped ring (hearts were my theme so it was perfect).
My something blue were my custom-made panties (i know it's kind of stupid, but I just had to have them...)
And my something new was my dress...
You definitely have time to pull it off...
how 'bout a blue garter?

Re: is anyone Not doing the Something
My mom forgot til the night before her wedding. She borrowed an old penny from her mom and put it in her shoe. She returned it after the ceremony. She made a little bow from some blue ribbon they had and pinned it to her undies. New was everything else.
Make it real easy for yourself, but DO IT! It's fun to know you have luck on your side. Have a great wedding. We are waiting for pictures.

Re: is anyone Not doing the Something
I will be doing this...it's one tradition that I want to stick to...since pretty much everything else I'm doing is not really traditional!!
My something old is . It was originally going to be my mom's pearl jewelry...until I found this awesome website (carriedmader.com) and she is making me a bracelet and earrings from white topaz briolettes which are GORGEOUS!!!
My something new is dress, veil, shoes, etc.
My something borrowed is
My something blue...I'm still a little undecided about this one...but I may have a blue monogram sewn into my dress (on the inside of it of course)...got this idea from Martha Stewart.
