Money is getting WAY tight and i was thinking of skipping trials altogteher.... am i a crazy person for thinking this?? im not getting anything major done to my hair.... i just dont know....okm TIA

i would say definitely get trials!! i had my hair/makeup trial and there were some things i didnt like about my hairstyle so i'm gonna have her fix that the day of the wedding. and i wasn't crazy about the makeup trial either, so im going back again tomorrow for another trial to compare. i didnt want to spend the extra money, but it had been bothering me for 2 weeks so i need to go again just to ease my mind.

I didn't think I did...but I went for one anyway 'just to see'. Well, turns out that the hairstyle I was sure would work didn't flatter me what-so-ever. If I would have had my hair like that on my weddingday I would have hated my pics. So, now I am looking for a totally different style and I would have to squeeze in a new trial the week of the wedding! aahhhhh!
In short, you may not think you need it...but do it...just in case!!!

i don't know of anyone who does a free trial. but maybe the next time you go for a haircut or a trimming, just ask your stylist to pull your hair back (or however you want) but don't actually set it, so you can get a feel for how it would look.

I emailed back and forth with a ton of people to get prices and info and I didn't talk to a single one who did free trials. Sorry. But that being said, I would definitely go for a trial for hair at least.

I dont know of anyone who does free trials. Mya's trials are like $55 which is way lower than the cost of her 'day of' services. HTH!

my makeup and hair trial at my salon was $120 total. i think the makeup trial is $35 though.

I had both done for Hair & make-up and am VERY glad I did. This way I KNEW exatly what I wanted the Day of.

o so i just called like 5 dif salons in my area and they all said trials arent completly nessessary.... thye told me on the day of they can pplay with styles till we find just the right thing... and since there is NO buudget left for trials im gonna go with it... but if anybody sees my pics and think my hair looks retarted, i dont wanna hear it!!!!!!!!! tia

I had a trial way in advance and then I changed what I wanted and didn't bother with a trial. I trusted the person styling my hair and I just didn't have time or feel the need.
