I am considering staying in a hotel the night before and get ready closer to the RH (maybe 5 min away). A couple of questions...would it be crazy to have a limo take me to the RH? I really wanted some different car shots.

Re: Is anyone not getting ready at home?
absolutely not. I am staying at Glen Cove mansion night before as is FH (separate rooms of course) and a lot of hte bridal party is as we have an early start. We're having the limo take us to the reception hall for photos after photos at the hotel

I am going to get ready in the bridal suite at the Crescent. It's the size of a small apartment so there will be plenty of room for me and my girls.

Re: Is anyone not getting ready at home?
La Quinta on Stewart Avenue is near Chateau Briand. My friend's hubby and his family stayed there the night before and got ready since they were from Staten Island. They got the bridal suite and stayed there after the wedding.
