We were thinking of just taking pictures at our RH instead of going to a location for photos, is anyone else doing this?

We are just taking them at the church and then the RH.

us too. I don't think we will have time to go to another location and go to our cocktail hour.

thats another thing, i have a big gap so going elsewhere for pics actually helps kill some time. If i went straight to rh i would be there for 4 hours

we're going to FH parents house to take pics - they have garden like yard so its perfect. So its sort of another location - but sort of not

We're getting married on the beach so we are just going to take our pictures there. We are 100% beach people so that is all we want.

we are just taking pics at the church and reception hall. We actually don't have time in between to take pics at a 2nd location.

There's just no time for us to do a 2nd location unless we do it earlier or after the ceremony and reception- plus both FH and I feel that Russo's has many pictures opportunities

I'm only doing pics at the RH. FH and I are not seeing eachother before the ceremony, which is at 1pm. Our CH starts at 530 and we want to be there for at least some of it, so we are going to leave the church right after the receiving line, (just taking one picture as we are walking out the church) and heading straight to the RH to freshen up and do pics. I told the photographer that I don't wanna linger at the church either to take pics, so whatever he gets during the ceremony will be it.

we'll take pictures at the church, and at the RH...
we MIGHT do pics at the park across from the RH or at FH's grandfather's house since it's across from the church and he has a cute trellace thing...
but we're not going out of our way for another location.

I was just told that we can get to our RH early, cause the event before is ending early...i already booked OWG, my time slot is 3:30 should be done at 5...get to RH by 5:30, and that will give us an hour before guests arrive to take some family pics.

We kind of have to go to another location. We have so much time between the church and the CH that we don't have much of a choice since we can't get to the RH until 1 hour before.

I was hoping not to incur another expense but it looks like i have no choice.

Jess-are you seeing each other before the ceremony? My friend had her ceremony and reception at Milleridge and her pics a beautiful. She has some inside and outside. and they have the cute little village you could probably take advantage of!

I think that's what we are gonna do. our RH has a bunch of beautiful pic opportunities, I don't think we will have time to go to somewhere else.

Us too... we weren't planning on going anywhere else! That's part of the reason we booked up WM, they have the beautiful gardens to take pics in

I want to go somewhere else but I am not sure if it will work out! We are getting married at our RH... and now we are considering seeing each other before the ceremony! But I dont know if it will work out!
