Is anyone not submitting a must playlist?

Is anyone not submitting a must playlist?

With 2 weeks to go...

We just picked all of our songs for the introductions, 1st dance, etc. and it took forever! I spent all week listening to hundreds of songs.

Everything is due to the DJ tomorrow and I really don't have the energy to come up with songs we want played at the reception. We are using Frank from FM Entertainment. Do you think its a big deal if I let him pick all the songs?

I don't think I am... I will just send them what NOT to play and then a list of specific songs that are a must. For all else, I'll just trust them to read the crowd and play songs that will get people dancing!

I think I might have to because we are having bilingual guests (spanish & english music) and I dont want our Dj to only play the Macarena (i hate it) just because its a Spanish song, even though our DJ is Spanish who also owns a band so he should actually know what type of music is good.

If there are any songs that come to mind that you really DON'T want to hear, tell him not to play those.

It might be more fun not to have a play list because then you can go with your mood that night and encourage all your guests to make requests too!

i picked them out about a month before....but made changes the week of the wedding they were fine with it..........if you trust your Dj then go for it....but dont be pissed if they play songs you hate!

I don't think so either. Alot of DJ's / Bands appreciate the freedom of reading the crowd. I think I'm going to just let them handle it. But, if there's some songs that you must hear and must NOT hear. Submit that list.
