You could check out www.salary.com or www.bls.gov and they should give you some info about how much they make. HTH

nurse here. i don't think NA's make great money....usually up to about $15/h. Benefits can be great if you get into a hospital. If you take an EMT course, you are more likely to possibly get hired by an ER. Because you will be an EMT you'll have more ability to do certain things so the pay can be upwards of $20p/h. Homecare i think pays the best for NA's.

I graduated with my bachelors from Adelphi in 2000.
I am not sure how much NA's make...probably around $15 depending upon the facility

ME NEITHER!
that can't be a serious program! You CAN get a 2 year associates degree in nursing...I think thats the quickest....nassau community or suffolk community both have programs!
Most hospitals will want an RN with her bachelor's or at least tell them you have intentions of pursuing your bachelors!

Re: is anyone?? nurse!
there is no such thing as a seven week course for a NURSE...a nursing assistant is very different. Their main responsibilities are vital signs and comfort care (cleaning, changing, assisting the patient)...they ASSIST the nurse...they are by no means, nurses. Trust me---it's taking me forever to finish my BSN.....12 weeks left thank god!
