Wow! Okay, I still don't have a ceremony location. Or officiant. Or florist, limo, invites, etc. etc. Wedding's in June. Am I the only one who's this far behind?
I was ready to pull out all my hair this morning until something happy happened-- the FedEx guy showed up with a box full of my new books! (I wrote Make a Real Living as a Freelance Writer... if anyone's interested, check it out here: Freelance Writer ) At least that took my mind off my stress for a good 12 hours.
I thought that finding a band would be the most challenging part of planning this wedding. Now it's a toss-up... the band was tough, but finding an outdoor ceremony location with a gazebo/pavillion-type thing that can hold more than 200 people in case it rains has been pretty impossible!

Thanks, Jules! Totally my fault for getting such a late start. I've just been going nuts with deadlines (this is my 9th book in 2 years... I'm working on my 10th right now, and it's due next week!). I am praying that as soon as this next deadline passes, I can drop everything and just devote time to wedding planning. But I am getting scared that I'm going to have to 'settle' on things because it's getting so late.

woah, thats alot to do in short time. I'm sure you can handle it. Just gotta get on it. i would do ceremony location then officiant then invites then etc etc...

I am sorry about your planning. But right now i am under the eight ball. I have been behind in getting the reception place. I still have no clue. I am hoping that by the end of the month it will be done.

Thanks, everyone! Okay, question. For the ceremony location, I'm looking for an outdoors location in Suffolk. Here's where I've already looked:

There are others I'm forgetting. But for one reason or another, none of them have worked out. Anyone have other suggestions for where I should go today? I got up early an' everything.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!! Only did this stuff in the last 2 weeks... have a location (but we may change it) I have a date (but may change it), I only ordered my dress last week. I just booked a DJ last week, and photo, video (but may change the date, so it's probably still up in the air) Have NO officiant, florist, limo, honeymoon, wedding rings, tuxes, BM dresses, make-up artist/hair, the list goes on!!! But I'm smiling sort of
