Is anyone paying their hairdresser or make-up person to stay to touch you up?

I am trying to decide whether I should do this or not.

No, but if you have the right make-up artist, you shouldn't really need to . . . if anything you should be able to touch up on your own a little, but you shouldn't really have to!

Hair, I don't know- that would really depend on the tendency of your style to get messy . . .

i feel the same way... you should be the last one to get your make up done and you might have to touch up your lipstick.... but if it would make you feel better than definately do it

I am sur eyou will look amazing!!!!

I'm having a good friend who used to work for Estee Lauder Spa do my makeup. I'm taking pics at Westbury Gardens and feel like I may get sweaty and gross after all of the running around and will def. need a touch up..I am dragging her everywhere with me that day..

As for the hair, I am probably wearing it back, so won't need anyone to fix it or touch it up after it's done..hopefully!!

I am having my hair & makeup lady stay with me till the reception starts
I am wearing my hair 1/2 up and I have very thin pin straight hair that is very hard to get to stay in
I will most likely put my hair up before the reception starts and then she will leave
I will have no worry about my hair & makeup all day
So it's worth the extra money to me

No but I did purchase the makeup she used to touch it up myself.

Well, my make-up girl is FH's cousin, so she will be there all night to help out.

I think friends and family can help you if something were to smudge or fall out of place, but that's really unlikely.

The biggest complaint is usually getting other people's lipstick off of you when they kiss you.

I do make-up for weddings, and I always stay until the reception
Just b/c, although the make-up might be good quality, the girl might sweat or need some gloss for more pictures. Usually, your eye make-up does NOT need to be touched up

Nope. My hair and make-up lasted all day throughout the entire night despite of the humid weather of August. My make-up artist gave my BMs, MOB, and myself a little touch-up case of a brush applier. I was very amazed of how much it lasted all day as I was hugging, kissing, eating, dancing, walking, twirling while dancing, and the humid weather on top of it all.

I did. It really helped me look fresh in all my pictures, and I changed my hair from all-up at the ceremony, to 1/2 up 1/2 down at the reception.
