Is anyone planning/throwing....

their own bridal shower? i think that's something that i might have to do...on top of all of the wedding planning...

i have never heard of this. why is this the case. if you are goingto maybe call it somehting else because u cant 'shower' yourself....maybee think of something cute to call it like...i dont know.....let me think a sec

the reason why I ask it's b/c....my BM's & MOH have no interest whatsoever.... and I was wondering if this has ever been done before....I swear I feel like canceling the BP and not have one.... all I wanna do is get married.. that's all..

maybe plan it yourself but make it look like its coming from your mom, cause its not really right to throw your own shower

Same here. I am highly doubtful that I will get a bridal shower unless my mom throws me one...

sounds like you're surrounding yourself with people who you don't want in your wedding and that's sad. You can't throw your own shower. did you have an engagement party? Maybe if you didn't you can call it an engagement party, and just register for stuff you want and include the registry card in the engagement invite.

I don' t think you should throw yourself a shower.

It'll all turn out great.....

I had a MOH, and 4 bridesmaids...

When it came down to my Shower my Mother really pulled through for me. She did almost everything.

BUT I have to say that my MOH really surprised me she lives in New Orleans and she surprised me by showing up with my Flower Girl, Ring Bearer, and Jr. Bridesmaid.

So I really appreciated that.
