obviously I am starting to have an issue with all the weight I am gaining. I know I'm going to gain it - I just want to try to keep it to a minimum. Is anyone still doing the point system but adding extra points?

Re: is anyone still on weight watchers?
I'm not preggers, but I'm on WW.... you get your flex points. I'm not sure if I would follow WW if I were prego though? Is that ok? (Just me being ignorant, b/c I don't have a clue....yet)

I would discuss this w/ your OBGYN. You have to get it in your head that it's NOT weight it's your baby!! The doctor would inform you if he/she feels you are gaining to much.

My doctor told me that no diet is ok when your pregnant unless you have gestational diabetes and have to go on a special diet for it. There are plenty of books on nutrition in pregnancy and keeping your calorie intake at a healthy level. Why don't you look into picking up one of those?

I have done WW and although I am not pg yet, I remember my leader saying you can do the maintenance program. Did you speak to your leader?

What I meant was be on maintenance plus the extra points for baby. I don't want to try to lose weight, just have some sort of guide to go by - I just can't count calories

What my doc said is to eat 5 small meals a day - better for your metabolism and baby gets his/her nutrition.
Keep your sweets to a minimum, drink 8 glasses a water a day and definitely walk or do yoga.
All this stuff should help you keep your weight to a minimum. If you are gaining too much your doctor will tell you - I'm sure you look wonderful!!!!!!
