Is anyone stressed about the war...saw something on the news got me thinking

Honestly I am not stressed about the war. There is nothing I can do to stop it. I can wear my flag pin, tie a yellow ribbon on the tree, pray, but thats it.

The news was talking about people not being able to sleep, overeating, etc...

Right now I need to concentrate on finding a job, paying my bills, paying for the wedding and concentrating on me and FI.

I think the only thing I really worry about is FI working in the airports. The news mentioned something about a man that is wanted by the FBI and he was last seen in Miami and he is a terrorist threat. So that worries me because what if he is in FI's terminal.

But as far as this war, i am not really stressed. Annoyed yes (gas prices are over 2 dollars at some places and there is nothing on TV) but stressed I am not.

How is everyone elses feelings???

I flip flop back and forth. When I am home and there is nothing else to think about, it upsets me, but when I am at work and have to be the strong one for all those kids who are worrying, I don't really get upset. There's nothing we can do about it, and although it's naive in some ways to say it is so far away, it is. I have friends in the army and I worry about them, but they are not infantry, so again, my naivety makes me think they will be ok. I don't know. Again, I flip flop.

I keep waking up every hour to see if the country is still in one piece. Right before sept. 11th. (MY Fh b day- poor guy) , my dad passed away, and I was left alone in this house all alone, (right before we moved in together and got engaged) so I was not sleeping well as it was, and just as I was getting into a routine, 3 weeks later was the tragedy of sept. 11th. So, I was up all the time, now I am up again every hour on the hour , trying not to turn on CNN, but ending up doing so. I pray for the troops, and just want this to end and have some peace. The whole world is scared. And call me selfish, but I cannot stand walking around like a zoombie.

I just hope it ends soon and NO ONE has to die. There is nothing I can do. I just pray and hope for the best.

I am really anxious about this also...I get home late from work so I watch the news a little...I try not to think about it but it worries me. I feel bad about the whole thing....I hope it ends soon.
